8th March, 2024 International Women’s Day – It was a beautiful evening where women from eight different fields were honoured and felicitated by Thane Vaibhav and the renowned Wavikar Eye Institute – India.
I am profoundly inspired by the journeys of all these women and the lessons we learn from their experiences. I had the privilege of being one of the awardees receiving the prestigious ‘Visionary Woman Award’ for the field of educational leadership from Thane Vaibhav.
This day was a celebration of the amazing accomplishments made by women in a variety of disciplines as well as a personal milestone. Kudos to Thane Vaibhav for taking the effort to honour and celebrate the contributions of 8 remarkable women who have made priceless contributions to their fields.
It is encouraging to see women from all walks of life acknowledged in a society where diversity and inclusivity are valued greatly, all united by their unwavering dedication and devotion to their chosen paths. These women are role models of courage, kindness, and a constant commitment to greatness in a variety of fields, including healthcare, education, and social activism.
As we bask in the glory of this acknowledgment, let us honour these remarkable women’s accomplishments and find inspiration in their narratives.
